We started erecting the tents at 8am. The day became very warm. Several hundred visitors passed through. Lots of children were fascinated by the lizards and snakes. Some of the children had thier faces painted.
Two Nature walks were held during the day, these helped to burn off the masses of cake etc that the visitors had consumed.

Robin gave us the obligatory safety talk regarding the first aid station and fire drill
The ladies laid on the usual excellent food and drink. most of which was home made.
The first thing to vanish was the lemon drizzle cake.

Alan brought several cabinets of butterflies which inspired us to look for some flying in the grass around the site
